The Korg nanoKey, nanoPad and nanoKontrol are quite intriguing products that provide just enough functionality to make them exceptional, portable music creation tools and, in the case of the brilliant nanoKontrol, an array of controls which can beautifully compliment an existing MIDI controller or repurposed synth. Despite by digs at the build quality, they're actually pretty robust and the faders/knobs/buttons feel good. The keyboard is awful, though, but good enough to audition patches and throw together simple loops.
